He is survived by: his brothers, Barry of St. John's, NFL and Duane Russell (Sue) of Belleville; his half-sisters, Trudy, Debbie and Catherine Russell of Toronto; his niece Danya Slik (Ekem); his nephews, Manson Slik (Lori) and Alexander Russell; and his wife Mary MacDonald.
