He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Byford and Lilly Byford; and his siblings, Hilda, Winnifred and Stanley.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Catherine (Fred Foster), James Jr., Edward (Lee), Steven, Carol (late Ali) and David; his grandchildren, Jason, Nicole, Jennifer, Becky, Krista, Michael, Anum, Shan and Madeha; and his sisters, Nancy (late Jim) and Marion (late Chandler).
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rushnell Funeral Homes - Picton (33 Main St W, Picton, ON K0K2T0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
