We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2024, at the age of 83, John Andrew Clarke of Picton, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Clarke and Charity; and his sister Mary Robertson of Fanny Bay, B. C.. He is survived by : his former life partner Doreen; his stepchildren, Rob, Jacqui, John and Jane; his sisters, Anne Jeckel (Colorado) of Steamboat Springs and Peg Johnson of Bailey Island, Maine.; and his pet Bella.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church or the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation "Back the Build" would be appreciated by the family. Donations are being accepted for: CHURCH OF ST. MARY MAGDALENE PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FOUNDATION.

Greg Caws wrote a sympathy message

“Will miss you Uncle John. Your love of boating including the Avalon and the Kilty Mary made a deep impression on me and throughout my life because of this I’ve always owned a boat. Even in University when I brought down the “Bote” from RMC in Kingston to spend the winter in your yard you were there helping me out. I remember your first class boat building up in your shop in the barn. You’ll always be there for me and I’m glad to have known you. Greg Caws”
