Ruth Pickell Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2025, at the age of 85, Ruth Pickell in Picton, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Harry Pickell; and her parents, Blake Hunt and Hazel Hunt. She is survived by: her children, Allen Pickell (Jennifer), Harry Pickell (Louise) and Cheryl Blight (Gary); her grandchildren, Michelle, Colin, Melissa, Jordan, Caitlin, Briana, Cassandra and Keegan; and her great grandchildren, Isaac, Wyatt, Isabella, Harper and Hudson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Weaver Family Funeral Homes (170 Dundas St W, Trenton, ON K8V3R1). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (31 Byrne Ave, Quinte West, ON K8V5P4). A reception will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #110 (19 Quinte St, Trenton, ON K8V3S7).
