We are sad to announce that, on March 6, 2026, Elizabeth Mary Margaret Anne Zavitz of Poplar Hill, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Elizabeth farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Elizabeth is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Colin Zavitz and Barbara Zavitz; and her brother Jack. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations to the Melville United Church (Ivan) U.C.W., My Sisters' Place, or Unity Project (London) would be appreciated by the family. Knowing Liz's love of animals, please also consider bringing a donation of dog and/or cat pet food to the visitation or celebration of life, which will be donated by the family to local animal shelters that Liz supported.
