He was predeceased by : his brother Evan. He is survived by : his spouse Gail Colyer of Port Burwell; his stepdaughter Lisa Melnik (Chris); and his children, Viktoria, Emily, Deborah Paul, Ashleigh, Danny, Melissa, Hailey, Ethan and Richard Selnes.

Due to covid restrictions, cremation has taken place.
