It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Byron Coker of Port Carling, Ontario, who passed away on May 22, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Byron Coker to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Colin; his daughter-in-law Kristen; his daughter Kelly; his son-in-law Jamie Nairn; his grandsons, Tannor and Ryley; his siblings, Alan (Sonya), Bruce (Patricia) and Marlene Cameron (Ken); his parents, Reginald James Coker and Marion Alice Ritchie; and his wife Hylda. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
A private family service will take place when Covid restrictions lift enough to allow it, as will a larger community-based Celebration of Life.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Port Carling United Church, the Port Carling Lions Club or the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
