He was predeceased by : his wife Avis; his parents, Everett Brown and Alva Brown; his sisters, Margueritte Scott and Lois Hyslop; and his brother-in-law Ray Hyslop.

He is survived by : his children, Allan (Linda), Gerald, Arthur (Annie), Audrey (Bob) and Avis. He is also survived by children, grand-children and great-grand-children.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Food Bank of the Port Cares Reach Out Centre or Cystic Fibrosis Canada would be welcomed.
