He was predeceased by: his son Michael Sveda (Andrea); his grandson Justin Olm; his great grandchild Madelyn Gratton; his son-in-law John Moreau; his parents, Steve Sveda and Rose Sveda; and his sister-in-law Helen Sveda.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sveda; his children, Rick Sveda, Linda Moreau, Judy Sveda and Mark Sveda (Sherry); and his brothers, Steve Sveda and Joe Sveda (Marilyn).
