It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cesare Giancola (Port Colborne, Ontario), who passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincenzo and Cristina; and his siblings, Gina, Anna, Antonio and Emilio.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Vinci Giancola (Robert Kendrick) and Tony Giancola (Bunny Fulop); his brothers, Severino (late Lucia) and Luciano (Mariolina); and his sister-in-law Ida.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home & Chapel (179 Clarence St, Port Colborne, ON L3K3G4). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 6th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church (375 Main St W, Port Colborne, ON L3K3V9). A committal service was held on Tuesday, January 6th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount St Joseph Cemetery (712 Lakeshore Rd E, Port Colborne, ON L3K5V3).
