He is survived by: his wife Brenda Dennis; his children, David (April Bastien), Nadine Bastien, Andrea Bastien (Dylan Bisson) and William Bastien; his grandchildren, Dean, Audrey, Aurora, Hunter and Logan; his siblings, Jeannine (late Ray), Pauline (Claude), Claudette (late Glen), Luke (Cheryl), Aline (late Larry), Paulette (late John) and Clarisse (Roger); his stepsons, Ben (Courtney) and John (Sabrina); his stepgrandchild Charlee; his stepson Spencer; his siblings-in-law, Wendy Leitch, Patricia Crowe, Mike Crowe and Ron Wheeldon; and his brothers, Gerald and Gerrard. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dave was predeceased by his parents Donate and Alice and his brothers Gerrard, Gerald, and Victor.
