He was predeceased by: his son Douglas Wagner; his parents, Harry Wagner and Cecilia Wagner; his parents-in-law, Wilfrid and Helene Saumure; and his brothers, Paul and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his child Davey Wagner (Mary); his grandchildren, Julia (John) and Nick; and his siblings, Kaye (Casey), Nancy, Mary (Steve), Jerry (Dianne), Peter (Tina), Linda and Billy (Sandra). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
