It is with sadness that the passing of Erika Schimpf (Port Colborne, Ontario) is shared. Erika, born on November 26, 1941, passed away on October 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Erika will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Erika by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Erika is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Erika’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elizabeth and Karl; and her sister Mary-Anne.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home & Chapel (179 Clarence St, Port Colborne, ON L3K3G4). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada or The Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
