He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel and Caroline; his sons, Gary Jr. and Lonnie; his daughter-in-law Debbie; and his brothers, Robert and Samuel.

He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Kelba (Tim); his daughter-in-law Lisa Kelba; his grandchildren, Amber (Korey), Trevor (Kristyn), Corrie Kelba and Blake Foisey; and his great grandchildren, Aurora and Harley Kelba.
