He was predeceased by: his spouse Adrianna (Vanden Boogaard); his sister Diny Vanderbeek; and his sisters-in-law, Tony and Shirley. He is survived by: his children, Willemina Veldman, Andrew Veldman, Maria Veldman (Tamburri) and John Veldman; his stepgranddaughter Jennifer Stekelenburg; his brother-in-law Ben; his sisters, Anne Flikkema and Mike; and his siblings-in-law, Dave Boorsma, Adrian Boogaard, Diny Vanden Boogaard, Maaika Langenberg, Mels, Anna Vanden Boorgaard and Kees Vanden Boogaard.
Memorial donations, if so desired, may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
