He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Moore and Janet Moore of Wainfleet; his in-laws, Ernest and Emily Ayres of Port Colborne; and his brothers-in-law, Jay Ayres (late Judy) and Charles (Helen).

He is survived by: his wife Etta Moore (Ayres); his son Shayne (Heather); his grandchildren, Schuyler and Kaitlyn (Brayden); his great grandchild Peyton; his sister Joan Moore (Joan McSpadden); and his siblings-in-law, Shayne Ayres, Keith Ayres (Debbie), Gregory Ayres, Mindy Snider (Harvey) and Lori Poirier (John). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
