She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Joe Lakie; her children, Michael Lakie (Sherri) and Trudy Johnstone; her grandchildren, Amy Lakie (Mike), Jeremy Lakie (Ashley), Joe Peazel (Siobhan), Tom Peazel (Kim), Brandon Johnstone (Katie), Matthew Johnstone (Jen) and Nick Johnstone; her great grandchildren, Bridget, Elaina, Sydney and Mya; and her siblings, Reta, Ebon, Ann, Margaret, Hazel and Sonny. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #56 Port Colborne Poppy Fund or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
