She was predeceased by : her father John Santa; her brother John Santa Jr.; and her mother Sadie Brock. She is survived by : her husband Roger; her children, Allana Wayda (Sam) and Randy; her grandchildren, Benjamin (Victoria), Jonathan (Sarah-Kate) and Rachel; her sisters, Mary Ann Dunn (Tim), Margaret Vida (Jim) and Susan Bergsma (Erick); and her friends, Heather Filson and Lynda Hannigan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Julia requested that donations be made to Port Cares so that they can continue her, and Christ's, work of helping those in need without bias or prejudice.
