She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo LaPlante and Doris LaPlante; and her sister Dianne Sauders. She is survived by: her close friend Sheila Jones.

Memorial donations to the Humane Society of Greater Niagara would be appreciated by the family as animals gave her the greatest joy.
