He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Kelso; his siblings, Jennie, Amerigo (Judy), Angelo (June), Mary (Gus), Angelina (Ted), Lily (Harry) and Dorothy (Jim); his grandson Matthew; and his daughter-in-law Donna.

He is survived by: his children, Michael (Marilyn), Cathie Smyth (Bryan), Tim (Marian), Tom and Chris (Jeanine); his grandchildren, Peter (Gail), Tara Ebejer (Paul), Sadie Hall (Jesse), Nick (Michael), Lauren Wilson (Gregoire), Jade and Louis; and his great grandchildren, Maya, Isla, Kennede, James, Olivia, Adelyn, Joel and Naomi.
