He was predeceased by: his parents, Giulio and Angelina; his brother Carlo; and his parents-in-law, Franco and Marisa Principi.

He is survived by: his spouse Tisiana Recine; his children, Michael Recine (Alaina), Lori Recine and Juli Della Ventura (Kevin); his grandchildren, Dante Recine and Della Ventura; his siblings, Rodilio Recine (Rita) of Niagara Falls and Filomena Lancia (late Enrico) of Italy; and his sister-in-law Cristina Isabettini (Angelo) of Port Colborne. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
