He is survived by: his children, Ruth Ann Bradshaw (Johnnie) of North Carolina, Ellen Bear (John) of Pennsylvania, Paul Allan Fehrman (Amy) of Port Colborne and John Paul; and his grandchildren, Andrew Graham (Lisa) of Florida, Sara Graham of New York, Michael Bear of Pennsylvania, Scott Bear (Staci Fitzhugh) of Pennsylvania, Becca Potter (Joe) of Pennsylvania, John L. Bear of Pennsylvania, Elizabeth Young (Jonathon) of Ridgeway, John Fehrman and Mark Fehrman. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
