He was predeceased by: his son Donnie Bernard; his parents, Antonin and Denise; his siblings, Marie-Therese Bernard and Moise Bernard; and also Alice LeBlanc (Norman).
He is survived by: his wife Millie; his daughter Barb Amies (Tom); and his siblings, Catherine Leger (Willie), Madeleine LeBlanc (Leo), Anna Delhunty (Sonny), Eric Bernard (Pat), Andrew Bernard (Maria) and Gerard Bernard (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada or the Lung Association of Canada.
