He was predeceased by: his parents, Winifred Hales and Edgar Hales. He is survived by: his spouse Greta; his siblings, Elaine Hales (Martin) and Warren Hales (Anrenée); his stepchildren, Dennis Coursey and Celeste Rimac; and his grandchildren, Erin (Danny), Zoe, Curtis, Simone and Bellamy.
