He was predeceased by: his sister Doreen May Thompson; and his parents, Edwin Stone and Laura May. He is survived by: his wife Laurine; his children, Darren Mills (Wendy) of Port Colborne, Mandy Collier (Roger) of Ottawa and Jason Mills (Erika) of The Town; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Shawna, Karena, Ella, Elijah, Jack, Colton and Ethan; and his brother-in-law Allan Thompson.
He was a dedicated blood donor with 130 donations.
