She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jim Ford (late Carole), Muriel Fredson (Ed) and Susan VanderRyd. She is survived by: her husband David; her children, Jim Pettersen (Caroline) and Heather Smith (Mark); her grandchildren, Alex (Joanna), Carleigh (Duncan), Connor, Taylor (Kyle), MacKenzie and Alexandra (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Maya and Dax.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ferris Funeral Home (214 Norfolk St S, Simcoe, ON N3Y2W4). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
