He was predeceased by: his wife Eva; his children, Glenn, Marilyn Spain of Simcoe and Karen Spain (Rafi) of Port Dover; his parents, Alex Spain and Maude Spain; and his siblings, Jack (Ivy), Marjorie Carter (Jimmy), Lucy Meade (Ken) and Kay Gamble (Ted).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sara, Michael Linner, Curtis, Mihaela Spain, Brittany Chaban (Evan) and Michaela Chaban.
