He was predeceased by: his parents, Erna and William. He is survived by: his children, Heidi (David) and Andreas (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Nichole (Mike), Victoria (Jasper), Krystina (Eric), Thomas and William; his siblings, Peter (Linda) of Connecticut and Gisela (Willy) of Germany; and his siblings-in-law, Helmut, Gita and Sylvia.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thompson Waters Funeral Home (102 First Ave Port Dover, Port Dover, ON N0E1N0). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church (17 Lynn Park Ave, Port Dover, ON N0A1N5). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Port Dover Cemetery.
