The passing of John Beresford (Port Dover, Ontario) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 26, 2026. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Beresford and Ethel Adcock; his parents-in-law, Robert Ryerse and Lois Porteous; and his nephew Heath Beresford.
He is survived by: his significant other Pam; his brothers, Rob Beresford (Sue) and Neil Adcock (Fadile); his children, JoAnne Beresford (Neil), Jeff Toombs (Cheri) and Jim Toombs (Young); his grandchildren, Laikin Steyaert (Cody), Liam, Logan, Noah, Paityn Toombs and Boy; and his great grandchild Carter Steyaert. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Anglican Church (302 St George St, Port Dover, ON N0A1N0).
