She is survived by : her husband Allan Abbott of Port Dover; her daughter Jennifer Abbott-Smith (Gord) of Simcoe; her grandchild Brie; her daughter Heather Lichtenberger (Cliff) of Colorado Springs; her grandchildren, Grant, Grace and Leanne MacDonald (Ian) of New Hamburg; her great grandchild Jack; and her brother Skippy Savoy (Louise).

Due to covid restrictions, a private family service will be held with interment of ashes at a later date.

Donations may be mailed to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3.

“I am so deeply sorry for your profound loss. Although I knew Sharon in a professional capacity, I feel that we had become friends over the decades. She had a great sense of humour and the room lit up with her vibrancy when she entered. We shared many intimate conversations over the decades and I know how much she loved her family and felt a great sense of love and support from you all in the past and through this sadness.
