She was predeceased by: her husband George (Claire Hammond); her siblings, Doug Mitchell, Janis Robinson (Alvin), Peter Porter, Bonnie McCrae, Linda Kates (Mike), Sherry Maxwell (Rich), Ken Porteous, David Gibbons (Carol) and John Gibbons (Marilyn); her parents, Neil Porter and Hazel Porter; her parents-in-law, Horace and Lily Gibbons; and her in-laws, Ann Mitchell, James Porter, Judy Porter, Carl McCrea and Lois Porteous.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Vallis (Dean), Karen Wallace (Glen) and George Gibbons (Sharie Edwards); her grandchildren, Matthew Wallace (Kandice Butler), Jason Wallace (Kelsey), Tyler Wallace (Holly Tuck), Adam Vallis, Quinn Gibbons and Graham Gibbons Maisie Gibbons; and her great grandchild Evelyn Wallace. She is also survived by many nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Anglican Church (302 St George St, Port Dover, ON N0A1N0). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Port Dover Cemetery.
