He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy; his son Rod (Rebecca); his granddaughter Breanne; and his parents, Patricia and Ted.

He is survived by: his daughters, Melinda Bell (Brad Halyk) of Delhi and Melodie King of Paris; his grandchildren, Joe, Chelsey and Maddie; his brother Pete Bell (June) of Cayuga; and his brother-in-law Larry Morley (Marilyn).
