He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Deborah Fischer; his children, Allyson Fischer and Darran Fischer (Amy Fischer); his grandchildren, Connor, Ava, Emily, Mason, Sadie and Annie; his parents, Elmer Fischer and Violet Fischer; and his siblings, Dennis Fischer (Denise), Shelia Meyer (Jim) and Eunice Henning (late Jim Henning).
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (525 Ivings Dr, Port Elgin, ON N0H 2C0).
If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque or cash to the Marine Heritage Society or to the Faith Lutheran Church.
