It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Catherine Thomas (Port Elgin, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 37, on November 12, 2025. She is survived by: her husband Scott Thomas; her daughters, River and Skye Thomas; her parents, Alain Mineau and Carmen Breton; her in-laws, Dan and Laura Thomas; her siblings, Christian (Caroline Benoit), Caroline (Yuri Carter) and Gabriel; and her siblings-in-law, Shara Smith (Matthew), Caitlin (Stefan) of Savigny and Robert Thomas (Jenna). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as many dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Port Elgin United Church (840 Bruce St, Port Elgin, ON N0H2C2).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those interested to donate to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.
