With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Graham Steeves of Port Elgin, Ontario, born in Hamilton, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Graham left this world on November 22, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette; his children, Natasha (Steve), Kelly (Cathy) and Jennifer (Herb); his grandchildren, Callum, Cole, Kieran, Rowan, Kate and Max; his sisters, Jane Steeves (Ron) and Margie Guild (late Don); and his brother-in-law John McKinley (late Carol).

Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Port Elgin Tolmie Presbyterian Church (699 Goderich St, Port Elgin, ON N0H2C0). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to SickKids Foundation.

“I have known Graham since he joined Saugeen District High School back in 1969. He was my math teacher then; I was one of his many students. Back then he struck me as someone who took his profession and his connection with his students very seriously. In the class, he was always ready for anything. 1-on-1 he was amazingly open and patient with us students regardless of the issue that may have perplexed us. Loved seeing him at my 50th year class reunion in 2022. He will be missed; I will miss him.”
