He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anne; his children, Fred (Ann Marie), Sharon, Heather (Doug) and Kevin (Meg); his grandchildren, Josh, Jason (Mike), Jillian (Mike), Alison (Brandon), Derek (Nicole), Kaitlyn (Grant), Sarah, Suzanne and Nick; his great grandchildren, Addison, Colton, Nova and Wynnie; his sibling Russell Schildroth; and his friend Roma Rolfe.

Memorial donations to the Port Elgin United Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
