He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Garland and Christina "Teeny"; and his siblings, Ron (Koleen), Mary (Norman Matsumoto), Marlene (Madis Kreem) and Richard (Lisa).

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Saugeen Hospice, Walkerton would be appreciated by the family.
