Larry George Obituary
We announce the death of Larry George of Port Elgin, Ontario, who passed away on October 9, 2026, at the age of 70. Larry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Basil George; and his sister Susan Maas. He is survived by: his wife Kathy George; his child Courtney (Zachary Mackay); his grandchildren, Isla and Declan; his mother Betty George; his brother Ray (Marian); his nieces, Gerri (Tim), Gina (Andy) and Gillian (Ian); his brother-in-law Wally (Bev); his niece Jenn (Matt); his nephew Kyle (Alex); his brother-in-law Doug Maas; and his close friends, Gregg and Maxine Yohn.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Port Elgin Legion (630 Green St, Port Elgin, ON N0H2C0).
