She was predeceased by: her mother Marilyn; and her sister Kathryn. She is survived by: her husband Ken; her children, Nathan and Taylor (Keith); her grandchildren, Knox, Owen and Cooper; her brother Stephen (Carolyn); her nephews, Matthew, Garrett and Nolan; and her father Peter.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lakeshore Recreation (1177 Goderich St, Port Elgin, ON N0H2C3).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Saugeen Shores Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. The family has chosen to send donations to Canadian Cancer SocietyDonate Now (https://www.cancer.ca).

“Lynda, Lynda, Lynda. Port Elgin will not be the same without you. Your smile could light up a room....and often did. Ken, she was special but you (and Pete) knew this better than anyone. One time, while she and I were at Bruce B, we were paired up for driver training - skid control! She was pretty good.... and laughed all the way through the occasional 360s on the 'camel snot' (her term, not mine) on the road. Please accept our deepest condolences. She will be missed greatly; I will miss her.”
