She was predeceased by: her son Dan Thompson (Jeannette); her siblings, Janice Turner, Gail Ferrier, Vicky Schmidt, John Turner and Walter Turner; and her parents, Hugh Turner and Evelynne Turner.

She is survived by: her husband Jim Thompson; her children, Terry Thompson (Jenni Graham) and Tammy Connelly (Rob); and her siblings, Eleanor Huffman of Chesley, Iris Smith of Elmira, Milton Turner (Arlene) of Whitechurch and Hugh Turner (Marion) of Guelph.

In her memory, donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Canada or Grey Bruce Hospice Foundation.
