She was predeceased by: her child Glen Metcalfe; and her siblings, Netta Campbell, Betty Adair, Rob Glasgow and John Glasgow.

She is survived by: her husband Hugh; her son Peter Metcalfe (Veronica); her granddaughters, Sarah (Chris) and Laura (Josh); and her sister Florence (Geoffrey Whittaker).

Visitation was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the T. A. Brown Port Elgin Chapel (510 Mill St, Port Elgin, ON N0H2C0). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 6th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
