It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Speedie (Port Elgin, Ontario), who passed away on July 31, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marjorie Speedie to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Crawford and Lillian Crawford; her brother Allan Crawford; and her siblings-in-law, Margaurite Crawford, Kaye Clarke and Alf Clarke.

She is survived by: her husband Ken Speedie; her children, Sheldon Speedie (Marlene), Sherry Burton (Peter) and Laurie Beange (Steve); her grandchildren, Tony Opie (Teresa), Kristen Speedie (Bob), Micheal Speedie (Zahra) and Kenzie Burton (Dave); her brother Robert Crawford (Bob); and her sister-in-law Ruth Crawford. She is also survived by her several nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 340 (630 Green St, Port Elgin, ON N0H2C0).
