He was predeceased by: his son Aaron; his parents, John and Marjorie; and his brothers, Brynley and Terry.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Axford; his children, Anthony (Suzy) and Nikki (Phil); his grandchildren, Aaron and Ella; his great grandchild Emmet; and his grandsons, Cody, Saxon and Scenix.
