Murray McKechnie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Murray McKechnie (Port Elgin, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Murray farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Murray is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William McKechnie and Florence; and his siblings, Rebecca Schildroth and Kenneth McKechnie. He is survived by: his siblings, Bruce McKechnie (Patricia), Mary (Matt Proskie) and Betty McKechnie.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the T. A. Brown Port Elgin Chapel (510 Mill St, Port Elgin, ON N0H2C0). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
