He is survived by: his sibling Saskia (Jim McHugh); his sister-in-law Patricia; his stepchildren, Tracy and Michael (Melanie); his nieces and nephews, Michael (Melissa), Travis, Casey (Alys), Josie (Keith), Kristie (Eric), Adrian (Jess), Lucas (Jesse) and Ben; and his friend Lauren Barefoot.
Memorial donations to the Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
