Robert touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Robert’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie; his children, Bob Jr. (Sophia) and Tanya (John Murray); and his grandchildren, Josh (Nikki), Julia (Andrew) and Melissa. He was also cherished by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Br 340 (630 Green St, Port Elgin, ON N0H 2C0).
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
