Steven leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Steven’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Steven will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Melanie Mirza; his parents, Shirley Lazenby and William Lazenby; and his brother-in-law Alex Mirza (Meaghan O'Hare). He was also cherished by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Brown Family Funeral Homes (510 Mill St, Port Elgin, ON N0H2C1). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (525 Ivings Dr, Port Elgin, ON N0H2C1).
Memorial donations to The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
