We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2021, Vere Oliver Thompson of Port Elgin, Ontario passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vere Oliver Thompson to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by : his wife Margaret Victoria Abel; his sons, Patrick (Diana Carrillo Marrufo), Kevin (Rebecca Netley) and Oliver (Doloris Hrynkiw); and his grandchildren, Alexander, Amelia, Sarah Netley-Thompson, Aria and Tamara Thompson.

Due to ongoing COVID restrictions, a private memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 and a celebration of life and interment will take place in the summer.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Shaun's memory to Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.
