Douglas William Betts Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas William Betts of Port Hope, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman and Joan. He is survived by: his wife Jill; his sons, Doug Jr. (Kelly) and Todd (Pam); his grandchildren, Bryson and Abigayle; his siblings, Lynda (Steve), Jimmy and Kenny; and his siblings-in-law, Helen and Richard. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug's honour can be made to the Northumberland Hospital Dialysis Unit, whose care and kindness meant so much to him and his family.
