Jean will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Jean by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Jean is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Jean’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Gerald E. Wilson; her children, Deborah Buzny (Luzo), Karen Wilson and Darryl Wilson (Melanie); her grandchildren, Lukas (Maria), Justyn Buzny, Alicia Wilson (Caleb Shevel) and Logan Seymour (Chris Knee); and her great grandchild Eleanor Jean.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rushnell Funeral Home (103 Mill St N, Port Hope, ON L1A2T3). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
